Holocaust Survivor
Holocaust Survivor Anita Schorr stopped by WDOT, with poet Stephen
Herz for an interview with senior Nikki Pond. Mr. Herz read the poem Marked, and Ms.
Schorr spoke about some of her experiences before, during, and after
the Holocaust. Ms. Schorr, a native of Czechoslovakia, was taken to
a Jewish ghetto as a child, as well as three concentration camps. Upon
liberation, she was one of the first women to join the Israeli Army.
