Public Health and Political Awareness is a one of a kind, modern, current radio show broadcasted by Jaime once every letter cycle. On the show, I discuss real time public health issues primarily affecting the United States. This year, the anti vaccination scare, abortion rights, and the obesity epidemic dominated the show’s discussion, as these public health events sparked controversy and debate in the political field. My goal is to educate the public on widespread health issues in the United States and bring to the table possible solutions politicians can take to prevent and end hazards to the health of the public.
